Roma’s goalkeeper is astonished by the final result of the match against Cagliari. Olsen cannot understand why his team collapses mentally.
Roma leave the Sardegna Arena with one point after a dramatic match in which Maran‘s side scored the equalizer in the extra-time and without two players previously sent off by the referee.
The Swedish viking is an experienced player but he cannot explain what happened today. “We were two goals ahead and honestly, I cannot explain what happened. When you are two goals ahead you must win the game. It doesn’t matter which player enters or exits the field,” said Robin Olsen to Sky Sport and Roma TV right after the match.
“They were lucky because they passed through the center of the field. They had already tried to score in the first half and had been dangerous. I have no words [to explain this situation]. We were very disappointed and silent in the locker room.”
“But we know that the fourth spot of the standings is still possible for us. But we must improve our level. I believe it, I believe in my teammates and in the club. We must remain united,” concluded the Roma goalkeeper.
