Roma winger Justin Kluivert firmly believes in his qualities and works hard to become a top player.
Everybody can confirm that the Dutch talent who landed in Rome last summer is a potential prodigy. But Kluivert still must improve a lot to lead his teammates.
The Holland-U21 international spoke with The Players’ Tribune about his past and on the importance of daily work to reach the highest levels.
“Dedication is key if you want to be a great one,” stated Kluivert. “If you ask 100 young guys (15-16 years old) if they want to become professional players, they would say yes. The day after, though, they go to a party or they sleep until 1 PM.”
“Dedication is necessary even when you are a child. If you have a dream, you must do everything to make it happen. You have to leave everything else to get there, this is the crucial point”.
