The Italian midfielder is positive and excited about his new adventure at Roma. But he knows that he must be humble to succeed.

When the Roma sporting director Monchi forced Nainggolan‘s negotiation to convince Inter to include Zaniolo in the deal, most of the Roma fans were stunned.

The Belgian star out and a young talent in, certainly a decision that did not make the Roma fans celebrate by opening bottles of champagne.

But the current situation has changed and the fans of the giallorossi are now appreciating the skills of the Italian trequartista.

Nicolò Zaniolo has spoken to the portal L’Ultimo Uomo about his arrival at Roma and his ambitions for the future.

I did not hesitate to say yes. The negotiation ended in a week. I firmly wanted Roma and they wanted me. That’s why I was and I’m very happy. When I’ve joined the group in August, I just though about training,” said Zaniolo to the Italian outlet.

I’m positively impressed with De Rossi, Dzeko, and Kolarov. They are top players. It is an honor to train with them. Daniele is the captain and he gives me a lot of suggestions. When I’ve played against Real Madrid, he told me that that was a difficult match but also that I had the necessary skills to do well.”

The family is a point of reference for Nicolò Zaniolo. His father is calling him three or four times a day to check if everything is going well. The talented trequartista knows that he must stay humble to have a great future.

He told me that this is only the starting point of my career. He also believes that I have to stay humble because it’s really easy to go up and get back down. The main risk was to lose my mind not having stimuli anymore. But my family has been great. They are always close to me,” said the new Roma talent Zaniolo.
