The giallorossi are chasing the young talent of the Bergamaschi. Roma want to close Mancini’s deal in January.
Roma sporting director Monchi seems to be ready to approach Atalanta for Gianluca Mancini. The Italian defender is on fire in this period having scored three goals in the last three Serie A matches.
Rumors from Italy were reporting on Roma’s serious interest in Mancini. According to the Italian portal sportal.it, Monchi wants to speed up the negotiation to close a deal this winter. The player will remain at Atalanta until the end of the season, though.
The Spaniard is reportedly looking for a talented and young defender able to join Roma and stay for a long time. Gianluca Mancini seems to be the perfect profile for the giallorossi.
But this negotiation is not going to be easy. Reportedly, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Inter are interested in the 22-year-old defender too. Atalanta is also an expensive reseller but after Cristante‘s deal last summer, the relationship between the two clubs is good.
