Dzeko: “Kolarov and I Would Love to Come Back to Manchester City”

Roma striker Edin Dzeko has been interviewed by Manchester City ahead of the derby against the Red Devils.

Dzeko’s heart is still in Manchester and the memories of the Premier League he won with the Citizens are still vivid in his mind.

Roma striker Edin Dzeko knows the importance of a derby and in the last few years, that of Manchester has become of absolute beauty.

In a recent interview with his former club, Dzeko stated:

You can’t underestimate United. You have to be careful even if they are passing through a though moment,” said the Bosnian star. “Derby games are strange. The best team in terms of physical condition does not always win.

Dzeko’s period in Serie A has been great so far. The Bosnia international have scored 80 goals in 150 matches at Roma.

But his most beautiful memories are those of Manchester when the City has won a memorable Premier League title against QPR and he scored a brace.

I would love to come back to City one day and Aleks [Kolarov] too. We were hoping it would be last year with Roma, but it didn’t happen. Who knows, maybe it will happen this season. Although I’m not there anymore, Manchester City is still my club,” concluded Edin Dzeko.
