Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini loves his new role in Di Francesco’s group.
Although he passed through a difficult moment in his beloved city, now Pellegrini’s professional experience at Roma is happier than ever.
Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco might have found Pellegrini’s role in his brand new 4-2-3-1. The Italy international is really enjoying his position as trequartista, an offensive midfielder able to score goals and put the opponent backline in trouble.
“I’m enthusiastic about my new role. I have the opportunity to move around the field with less tactical commitments,” said Lorenzo Pellegrini to Sky Sport Italia. “I like to play there and the team is going very well at this time.”
“We are playing well because we have more chances to find each other on the field. Now we have to reduce the gap collecting points in the Champions League and Serie A.“
“I have to thank Di Francesco. He made me grow as a player and as a man. He has always been close to me.”
