Roma President Jim Pallotta presented a project for the new stadium 6 years ago. Now he wants to speed up the process.
When the American investor purchased Roma, he rapidly developed a project to build a new facility for the club of the Italian capital.
The Stadio della Roma project, though, has passed through several bureaucratic steps but the final green light from the Italian institutions has not been released yet.
According to the Italian outlet Il Sole 24 Ore, James Pallotta expressed his interest in buying the whole project from Eurnova in order to proceed to the final phase and brake ground. The Bostonian investor would be willing to spend up to €120 million.
Reportedly, several purchase offers have been presented, but Pallotta seems to be the preferred buyer also because he attended all the technical and procedural phases since the beginning of this long journey.
As reported by La Roma 24, Ivan Cimmarusti, a journalist of Il Sole 24, also mentioned that Mr.Pallotta has not presented an official offer yet. However, the President of the giallorossi expressed an interest in purchasing the project that includes the lands at Tor di Valle (the area in which the new Roma stadium should be built on.)
