The famous football magazine has listed a ranking of the best coaches in 2018.
Although he is passing through a very tough period at Roma, Eusebio Di Francesco seems to be really appreciated abroad and by the famous football magazine FourFourTwo.
The Italian coach has been listed in the 13th position of the “2018 best football managers in the world ranking”. Undoubtedly, the European performances of the giallorossi have contributed to his achievement.
In the 2017-18 campaign, Roma reached the Champions League semifinals. Liverpool FC kicked the Lupi out after two superlative clashes at Anfield Road and the Stadio Olimpico.
As explained by FourFourTwo “it’s never easy to move from Sassuolo to one of the top Serie A clubs, but he made it perfectly.”
The magazine also reported that in the past couple of years Roma sold their best defender (Rudiger) and their most powerful striker (Salah). Francesco Totti‘s retirement has complicated EDF’s work as well.
In this ranking, Di Francesco is ahead of other top coaches such as Luis Enrique (16th), Antonio Conte (18th), Jose Mourinho (25th), and Luciano Spalletti (39th). Among the first 10 football managers in the world, there’s the former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri (8th) and Massimiliano Allegri (4th). The best football manager in the world is Manchester City‘s Pep Guardiola.
