Former Roma Star Zago Recommends 3 Brazilian Talents

Antonio Carlos Zago spoke to TMW focusing on Roma and naming three Brazilian talents ready for the Italian stage.

After his glorious adventure in Rome, Zago moved back to his homeland. But his life is still totally dedicated to football.

The skilled Brazilian defender has released an interview to TMW and spoke about the current moment of Di Francesco‘s team.

“They have experienced issues but now they are back on track. They are playing like last year when they reached the Champions League semifinals. It’s a shame that they lost points at home. Anyway, it seems to be impossible the race for the Scudetto against this Juventus,” said Zago. “I believe they can reach the second position in Serie A and pass to the next stage of the Champions League.”

Carlos Zago was also asked about possible talents ready for the Italian stage.

“Every day there are new talents in Brazil. I particularly like Everton the offensive winger playing for Gremio. Luan is already well-known internationally because he played the Olympic Games with Brazil. Pedro is another good player, a 19-year-old and very tall striker that has been the top goal scorer in the Brazilian championship. Although he suffered an injury he is back and better than before,” concluded the former Roma defender Antonio Carlos Zago.
