Di Francesco: “The Other Teams Must be Afraid of Us”

Eusebio Di Francesco - AS Roma

The Italian coach held a press conference ahead of Napoli-Roma. Di Francesco wants continuity from his men.

We are on the eve of a super Serie A clash. Roma on the road to Napoli to face Ancelotti’s side. Eusebio Di Francesco firmly believe that the Partenopei are demonstrating their qualities and, together with Inter, they are the primary rivals of Juventus.

Nowadays, Napoli are ahead of us, also because they have more points. Even last season they have been better than us, but we have reached the Champions League semifinals,” said Di Francesco to the press at Trigoria.

Carlo Ancelotti is a terrific coach and EDF has praised him for his way to manage the group.

Unfortunately, I cannot often see what they [the coaches] do during the training sessions. That is the most important thing in my opinion. I really like his way to manage the group. All the players say good things about him, so there is something more than the mere tactical aspect.

The Roma coach firmly believes in the quality of his players. Although the giallorossi have passed through difficult moments, Di Francesco wants to see great performances from now on.

The other teams must be afraid of us. They cannot know which team they have ahead of them. We are able to perform greatly or lose our mind in a few minutes. We are an unpredictable side, sometimes even for me.

We have to find the right continuity. We have a great opportunity tomorrow and we must take advantage of that. We have the possibility to improve while they are a very stable team on a tactical standpoint,” said Eusebio Di Francesco.
