Totti Believes in Martians Wearing Real Madrid Jerseys

The Champions League is ready to begin. The 2018-19 edition features a top match between Real Madrid and Roma at the Bernabeu stadium.

The giallorossi have to face a tough obstacle on Wednesday, September 19th. Di Francesco‘s men will play against the Blancos at the Bernabeu stadium.

Lopetegui’s side is the favorite on Wednesday and also for the final victory. Roma legend and director Francesco Totti expressed his point of view about this game in the match program broadcasted by Roma TV.

“The Champions League is the most important competition for clubs. It is the highest aspiration for each player,” Totti said. “We hope to replicate what we did last year. We know that it is not easy to repeat previous performances. But we will try to get far and to bring Roma as high as possible.”

“We are not going to face a different team. Real Madrid lost Cristiano Ronaldo and changed the coach but the team is not weaker than the previous one. We will try to take advantage of every opportunity to put them in trouble.”

Francesco Totti believes there are Martians playing football. Messi and Ronaldo are two of them but Modric is included in this category as well.

“In the last fifteen years, Ronaldo and Messi have been extraterrestrials. They are part of another football category. Modric is a champion, an extraterrestrial player too. He has won a lot and played a great World Cup. However, we must go to the Bernabeu with the serenity and tranquility of being a strong team,” concluded the former Roma number 10.
