Roma coach Di Francesco spoke to the press ahead of the Serie A match against Frosinone.
The team has been working together in the past few days after Roma’s burning defeat in Bologna. President Pallotta and the top managers ruling in Rome forced the coach and his men to a retreat in order to find a solution to this ‘dramatic’ beginning of the season.
Eusebio Di Francesco firmly believes that his guys are still following his ideas and the club will demonstrate unity starting from tomorrow.
“Tomorrow we’ll know where we stand. This retreat has been decided by the managers and myself to unify the roster in a difficult moment,” said Di Francesco in today’s press conference at Trigoria.
President James Pallotta was disgusted after the unbelievable defeat at Dall’Ara stadium against Bologna.
“I would have been worried if he had been happy. There’s no need to feel anyone’s trust now.”
Likely, Edin Dzeko will sit on the bench tomorrow. Probably, Patrick Schick will lead the offensive operations against Frosinone.
“When things are not working well we have to give our best under a mental point of view,” continued the Italian coach.
“Our mistakes are made due to a negative interpretation of situations.”
“The group is with me. We want to do well. This is the truth. I said that if the team had not followed me anymore I would have left. But this is not the case, actually, it’s the opposite,” firmly clarified Eusebio Di Francesco.
