Strootman on His Way Out of Roma

The rocky midfielder accepts the offer of the transalpine club but the giallorossi are still not in agreement with Marseille. Negotiation could be finalized shortly. 

Kevin Strootman on his way out of Roma albeit the club of Trigoria is still waiting for a proper offer from the French side.

In the past few hours, Rudi Garcia decided to present a €23 million bid to Roma but reportedly Monchi gently refused. Negotiations are ongoing and the player could move to France soon.

Kevin Strootman has spoken to Di Francesco and the Roma sporting director telling them he accepted €4.5m per season from the rich French side. The Italian coach is not opposing this deal but Monchi is not willing to accept less than €30 million.

According to French outlet ‘L’Equipe‘, Marseille are ready to increase their bid to finalize this deal shortly. The former Roma coach Rudi Garcia is in love with Strootman, a player that he trained during his adventure in the Italian capital.

There’s no agreement between the parties at this time. Roma has reportedly refused €23 million and the Marseille managers are irritated. The player seems to be pushing Monchi to go away from Roma though.

As soon as Marseille decide to offer €30 million, Kevin Strootman’s professional adventure in Rome will be over!
