Steven Nzonzi completed his move to Roma and expressed his happiness to begin a new exciting professional adventure in Italy.
The 29-year-old world-champion is officially a new Roma player. Steven N’zonzi signed a four-year contract with the Giallorossi at Trigoria after having underwent his medical examinations today.
The former Sevilla FC man is exciting to start a new chapter of his life in the Italian capital.
“I’m very happy to be here and to be a Roma player,” Nzonzi said to Roma TV, the official TV channel of the club. “The club firmly wanted me to come here and I’m happy to join such a big club.”
The frenchman knows how to win trophies and this is precisely what he wants to do with the Lupi this season. “My personal goal is to improve my game, but the team’s objective is more important. It’s important to win and even if it’s hard to do so, we aim for this,” N’zonzi said. “We will do our best to make it happen.”
“I always want to learn and improve,” he said. “My age is not important, the most important thing for a player is to improve and give your best.”
“I’ll bring my experience to the team and I will give my best on the pitch and hopefully be a very good player for this team,” concluded the experienced midfielder.
