Dzeko’s Superb Volley Drives the Roma Fans Crazy. Torino-Roma 0-1

Roma collects three points on the road at the Stadio Grande Torino defeating Mazzarri’s men after a very tough match. The granata played with tenacity and competitive ardor. 

The 2018-19 season starts on the right path for Roma. Eusebio Di Francesco reshaped his team during the second half giving more solidity to the midfield. The goal scored by Edin Dzeko is clearly the play of a super-champion.

The giallorossi have been suffering for a while today but the youngsters brought into this roster by Monchi made a difference. Cengiz Under pushed from the right flank during the first 45 minutes while Justin Kluivert changed the match in the last quarter of the game replacing the Turk. 

The Dutch winger is an authentic gem. His competitive nastiness, speed, and quality in dribbling more than one opponents are remarkable skills that Kluivert will put at the Roma service in the current campaign. His double dribbling and cross for Dzeko from the right flank is the play of the game. 

When the Bosnian star decided to break the deadlock with a superb volley the Roma fans on the stands exploded in an irrepressible manifestation of joy. 

A special mention goes also to Robin Olsen. The Swedish keeper has the arduous task to replace Alisson Becker and saved the giallorossi more than once today demonstrating his ability and international experience.

Roma collects the first three points of the Serie A season on a very difficult field and against a Torino that well played and interpreted the game.
