The Bayer Leverkusen talent unveiled that a few top European clubs are interested in signing him. Roma is the Italian team mentioned by the player.
Monchi is screening the market to find a player able to play on the right offensive flank together with Cengiz Under. The Turk is a force of nature but Di Francesco‘s tactical scheme forces the club to invest even more on the two sides. The wingers are required to cover a large portion of the field, helping their teammates in the offensive and defensive phases.
Malcom was the selected player by the Roma sporting director. But Barcelona snatched the talented Brazilian from the tentacles of the Spaniard. Leon Bailey was on Monchi’s agenda as well, listed in the second position only due to his cost.
The Jamaican winger is currently at Bayer Leverkusen. He played a great season last year and attracted the interest of top European clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea.
But Leon Bailey mentioned Roma in his last interview with Kicker. “It’s true, Roma, Chelsea, and Liverpool are chasing me. But they have to talk with my agent and with Bayer Leverkusen.”
The talented offensive winger, 20, seems to be ready for a top club and to play the Champions League. In the 2017-18 campaign, he made 30 appearances scoring 9 goals and 6 assists.
“I am focused on my growth as a young player. That’s the most important thing for me,” concluded Leon Bailey.
