Roma’s 2018-19 Champions League Schedule: Fire Debut Against Real Madrid

The giallorossi will be facing the world champions Real Madrid in the first match of the 2018-19 Champions League. CSKA Moscow and Viktoria Plzeň complete the GROUP G.

The long-awaited Champions League draw was lenient with the Lupi. In the GROUP G, Roma will face Real Madrid, CSK Moscow and Viktoria Plzeň with the awareness of having many chances to get to the next step. However, football is a tough and unpredictable sport and everything can happen during the 90 minutes.

As the Roma legend Francesco Totti stated right at the end of the Champions League draw, “Everything is easy on paper. The group is what it is. Every team in the group stage deserves to be there. We will have to go again with the right focus as we did last season.”

UEFA announced the Roma 2018-19 group stage schedule. The opening of the Giallorossi is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19th at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.
