Zenit and Porto Chasing Roma’s Juan Jesus

The Brazilian defender could be traded out this summer after a season with highs and lows in the Italian Serie A. Marcano and Bianda‘s arrival could push him away from Rome.

A few top European sides are reportedly interested in Juan Jesus albeit his last season at Roma has not been glorious. The Brazilian defender made 29 appearances in the 2017-18 campaign. Eusebio Di Francesco played him only for 2,263 minutes. The Italian coach preferred Fazio and Manolas as centre-backs and the two sides have been proficiently covered by Kolarov and Florenzi.

According to the Italian satellite channel ‘Sky Sport’, two teams are chasing Juan Jesus at this time, Zenit and Porto. The Russian side seems to be always interested in the players of the Giallorossi having purchased Paredes last summer. Even Manolas was almost relocating to Russia in the same period but the Greek defender changed his mind suddenly and stayed in Rome.

Porto, instead, had been in contact with the Lupi recently. Monchi purchased Marcano just a few weeks ago but now the glorious Portuguese club could be the perfect destination for Juan Jesus. The language and a very comfortable climate could convince the Brazilian defender to accept the new destination.
