Roma Makes Official Offer for N’Zonzi

Monchi-Totti-Baldissoni

The Roma sporting director is speeding up the negotiation to sign the Frenchman as soon as possible.

Monchi is not willing to wait longer. The Roma sporting director knows that several top European clubs are chasing the player and he doesn’t want to start a bidding war for N’Zonzi.

After having lost Malcom due Barcelona’s last minute offer to Bordeaux, the Spaniard is now speeding up the negotiation to find an agree with Sevilla FC.

Barcelona and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Steven N’Zonzi as well. But the Giallorossi have the appreciation of the midfielder who agreed to a 4-year contract for €2.5 million per season.

The interference of other top clubs will drive N’Zonzi’s price up though. Monchi was hoping to convince the Spanish side to accept €25 million for a player willing to start a new professional adventure, but now the Roma sporting director will be forced to spend slightly more.

Reportedly, Roma made the first official offer for Steven N’Zonzi. The player could be moving to the Italian capital for approximately €30 million.
