The president of the giallorossi was interviewed by Sirius XM FC today. Pallotta spoke about Malcom’s deal expressing his disappointment.
The Brazilian talent Malcom officially joined Barcelona today. The Spanish giants presented the right-winger and the player held his first press conference with his new club. But the Roma fans and president Jim Pallotta are still angry for the interference of the Spanish club in the deal and for Bordeaux’s weird behavior.
“My view is that Bordeaux’s actions were ridiculous, and we’ve already spoken to legal. We’ve got some advice and we’re pretty sure there’s going to be some issues,” Pallotta said as reported on the AS Roma official website.
“In reference to Barcelona, it looks like this is their way to do things in the last few years. Yesterday, they apologized for their actions. But I cannot accept the apology unless they give the player to us. Obviously, it’s not going to happen. As a goodwill gesture they could send us Messi,” Jim Pallotta continued.
“Bordeaux should never have done what they did. It is immoral and unethical…the legal side will come later,” the Roma president concluded.
