The Frenchman is on vacation in the United States after having won the World Cup in Russia. His presence in Boston triggers rumors of an imminent deal with Roma.
It could be only a coincidence but it would be a weird one. The Sevilla FC midfielder, that in the last period has been linked with Roma several times, is spending a few days in Boston, the city of president Jim Pallotta.
If we add to the mystery that Roma is in the United States for its 2018 summer tour and Mauro Baldissoni is currently in Boston with the Roma owner as well, it is enough to think that N’Zonzi could be there for fun but even for business purposes.
As AS ROMA 360 reported a few days ago, the sporting director of the Giallorossi Monchi and Eusebio Di Francesco would be happy to sign the Frenchman. Although Steven N’Zonzi has a €39 million release clause included in his contract with Sevilla FC, reportedly Monchi is going to approach the Spanish side with an offer.
The Roma manager wants to take advantage of N’Zonzi’s willingness to try a different adventure. His contract is set to expire on June 30, 2020, and this could be the right moment to snatch the France international from Sevilla FC.
Italian satellite channel ‘Sky Sport’ believes Monchi is poised to offer up to €25 million for Steven N’Zonzi.
The Roma fans are hoping to see the Frenchaman wearing their favorite gear soon!
