Monchi Halts Inter, Florenzi Ready to Renew

The Italian fullback seems to be ready to sign a new contract with the Giallorossi. Roma will extend Florenzi’s contract one year before its expiration date.

The Florenzi saga is almost over. The Italian fullback is reportedly poised to sign a contract extension with his beloved club. Although just a few days ago Monchi stated the negotiation is not ongoing because Roma had already made a proper offer to the player, rumors are reporting about an imminent agreement between the parties.

Reportedly, Alessandro Florenzi had been offered approximately €2.7 million per season plus add-ons. The overall offer should be about €3.2m per season. Italian outlets reported the Roman player had asked €4 million facing a wall in front of him.

The Roma sporting director is not willing to spend more to keep the Alessandro Florenzi in the Italian capital albeit the Spaniard and Eusebio Di Francesco would be very happy to keep him in the roster.

Florenzi seems to be ready and convinced to extend his commitment with the Giallorossi in order to stay in his beloved city and club for a long time.
