The Czech striker is ready for the big Champions League clash against Liverpool at the Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi want to complete another legendary mission.
Roma can do it! Sporting director Monchi and head coach Di Francesco firmly believe that the UCL mission is possible. Patrik Schick joined the group of positive thinkers and he is ready to face Klopp‘s men on Wednesday at 2:45 PM (EST).
“It will be an amazing atmosphere, like the one against Barcelona,” said Schick to the club’s match programme. “It could be even better against Liverpool if that is even possible. They are not as strong in defence as they are in attack. We have the chance to overturn the match. We have to face them without fear, with real fighting spirit and courage.”
After having passed a tough period at Roma, the future of the Czech international seems to be brighter. The player picked up several injuries that compromised the beginning of his adventure in the Italian capital. In the last period, though, Schick has improved and he is now ready to demonstrate his immense quality on the field.
“My biggest issue was that I got several injuries. In that period, I couldn’t do anything, just physiotherapy. It was a tough moment for me. Now I can say I am happy. The worst is behind me.”
