FIFA agent and expert for the Eastern European leagues Giovanni De Vito has been interviewed by the Italian Radio broadcaster ‘Tele Radio Stereo’.
Roma should’ve closed an important deal for the Croatian talent Ante Coric. The youngster is currently playing at Dinamo Zagreb and his qualities are indisputable.
“The player didn’t perform very well the last period and this is the reason why Mimic [Dinamo Zagreb president] is trying to sell him in May,” said De Vito. “I believe Coric will join Roma. The president is asking for € 8 million. If he feels the trust, he has an incredible technique. Roma should keep him in the team to let him grow without sending him on loan somewhere else.”
“Middle-third or playmaker? I have seen him play in both positions. However, I believe he is a Pirlo. Roma should use him in a three-man midfield. But he will need time to settle without feeling the pressure,” continued the FIFA agent.
“Benkovic? Inter was chasing the player as well as Roma. I don’t know what is going to happen because he picked up another injury and he will probably miss the World Cup as well. However, he is ready for the Italian League,” concluded Giovanni De Vito.
