The mayor of Rome confirms that the club will get the final approval for the new stadium soon.
Virginia Raggi spoke again about the Stadio della Roma project at the presentation of the Business City, projected and realized by Aeroporti di Roma. The mayor confirmed that the facility will be built shortly right after the end of the last bureaucratic procedures.
“Stadio della Roma will bring to the city investments for 800 million euro from foreigners. I’m very happy with that. We had to reorganize the project with the proponents and now we are in a phase in which the citizens can make their final observations.”
Raggi also reaffirmed that Pallotta & Co. will be able to break-ground shortly.
“As soon as the various procedures will be completed the construction phase will begin. The role of the administrations is to demonstrate that a development is possible and in line with ethical principles. We want to ease those processes that meet environmental development and sustainability,” the mayor of Rome concluded.
