The Belgian midfielder is happy for the three points collected at Sardinia Arena but he already thinks about the future, the Serie A home match against Juventus.
Radja Nainggolan is ready for another challenge against the Bianconeri. Although the match against Cagliari is still vivid in people’s minds, the Belgium international speed up the process speaking about the big rivalry between Roma and Juventus.
“It will be a battle for honor, but it’s in our hands. If we make a good result will be there [Champions League] again,” said the midfielder.
The Giallorossi faced a tough match on the road on Sunday. Cagliari played with passion and dedication putting Roma’s backline in trouble several times. The Lupi were tired after their Champions League effort against Liverpool on Wednesday but they managed to score the winner with the Turkish talent Cengiz Under.
“Cagliari has always been a tough side for Roma. We knew that” said Nainggolan. “I am happy for the three points but I’m also sad for our opponents. We’re doing well and are close to securing Champions League qualification,” concluded the midfielder.
