The Belgian star held a press conference ahead of the Champions League big clash Roma–Liverpool. The midfielder believes that another miracle is possible on Wednesday.
Radja Nainggolan is aware that the British side is very dangerous even when they play far away from their fortress Anfield. The Reds performed really well at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City in the UCL quarterfinals and they traveled to Rome with the confidence to reach the final match in Kiev.
“We know that it is going to be tough but we did it against Barcelona and we can do it again. In my view, this match will be even tougher because Liverpool is physically better than Barcelona,” stated the Belgium international.
“They have been more continuous than us. There were stretches of the match where we did what we had to do, but we could not do it for 90 minutes. We managed to make 2 goals that give us hope to move forward. We can not commit the same mistakes tomorrow.”
The player was asked about his future and he stated: “I stayed here because I think winning here would be an unforgettable thing. I don’t like to follow the easiest path. I’m trying to do it, even if it’s not easy. I do not want to leave the places where I feel fine.”
