Not more than 24 hours after the end of the 2017-18 campaign the Roma sporting director focuses on important transfer matters.

Roma ended its Serie A season with another victory on the road. Sassuolo surrounded to Pegolo’s own goal giving the three points to the Lupi. With that win, Roma kept the third position in the standings.

Now is the moment to plan and implement the right strategies to make this roster a successful one. Di Francesco, Monchi, and Baldissoni unveiled that there’s total agreement on the moves that must be completed to reduce the gap with Juventus and Napoli. It’s not going to be easy but this season the Giallorossi demonstrated their qualities especially on the European stage. “We have to improve, technically and mentally,” said EDF in the last period. Monchi is the right man to find the right players to strengthen the roster.

The Spaniard is working hard, collaborating with his scouting network to sign the right players for Di Francesco’s tactical approach. “The problem is not selling players, every club does that. But we have to buy the right men,” said Monchi several times over the season.

Roma needs to restart from solid foundations. Likely, Edin Dzeko will remain in the Italian capital for more years. “He is going to stay with us because we want him here,” confirmed the Spaniard.

Alessandro Florenzi represents the continuity of the Roman tradition in the top club of the Italian capital. His contract is set to expire in one year and Monchi clarified that “we are ready to talk with him about the contract.”

Another man that will be confirmed shortly is Eusebio Di Francesco. “We have to work together still for a long time,” stated Monchi.

The Spaniard planned strategies with his beloved coach and the Roma management. Hopefully, the future of the club will be brighter than ever.
