Champions League: Roma Collects Almost € 100 Million

The Giallorossi ended their Champions League adventure for this season after having defeated Liverpool. The fans are proud of their idol and the club banked millions of euros.

Roma defeated Liverpool 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday but the British side got access to the final match on aggregate 6-7. Di Francesco‘s men must be praised for this unbelievable international campaign albeit Klopp‘s crew will travel to Kiev to face Real Madrid.




The 2017-18 Champions League brought a huge economic advantage to the Lupi. The club of the Italian capital banked almost € 100 million participating to the most important European competition for clubs.

As reported by the Italian outlet ‘Il Sole 24 Ore’, the Giallorossi have earned € 38.2m thanks to their victories on the field. € 16.9m relative to the box office must be added to the previous amount as well as the market pool share reserved for Italian teams (€19.2m in the first half of the competition + € 25m after the elimination of Napoli and Juventus).

The final amount is very close to €100 million.
