The Roma official social profiles recorded a significant increase right after the epic Champions League win against Barcelona.
According to ‘IQUII Sport’, a portal specialized in news, insights, and sports marketing powered by IQUII, a digital consulting company, the followers of the Roma official Facebook page have increased by 108K units, with a growth percentage that settles at + 1.18%.
The Giallorossi gained 22.5K new followers on Twitter (+ 1.41%). Roma’s official Instagram profile showed a very marked change with 107.5K more followers, a variation of 7.82%.
Several millions of people watched the match on TV and posted comments, videos, and photos on social profiles.
‘IQUII Sport’ also highlighted that Kōstas Manōlas, the player who scored the 3-0 gained 1,139 fans on Facebook and 33,051 followers on Instagram.
