The Bosnian striker admits that Barcelona is a better team. But he also accuses the referee.

Barcelona defeated Roma 4-1 after a thrilling match with many mistakes by the referee. Although the final result seems to be deadly for the Lupi, Di Francesco’s side played without fear in front of world class players and 100,000 people on the stands.

In the post-match interviews, Edin Dzeko analyzed what happened on the field.

“Of course, it [the penalty] would have changed the match. The referee should have been braver. He should have whistled against Barcelona. We deserved to get to the quarter-finals just like them.”

“They are stronger and we know it. 3-1 was better, but if you make a lot of mistakes, they punish you.”

“Let’s start again from Fiorentina because if we want to play the Champions League again we must win against Fiorentina.”
