Dzeko Praises Alisson After Roma Easy Serie A Win 4-1

The Bosnian star played a marvelous match at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday. But the 4-1 could have been different without Alisson’s remarkable performance.

Roma defeated Chievo Verona 4-1 playing a match with the right attitude and crushing Maran‘s men without mercy. Although the Giallorossi have been in total control of the match since the beginning, the final outcome could have been different if Alisson Becker had not saved Roberto Inglese‘s penalty.

Edin Dzeko scored twice today but the Bosnian praised the performance of his super teammate: “We have to thank Alisson for that save. If they had scored then the game could have ended up going very differently. It was very important save for the team.”

The Roma striker is ready for the big Champions League clash against Liverpool. Roma will host the Reds at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday at 2:45 PM (EST). “We hope to put in another great performance on Wednesday, we need to,” said Dzeko.

Sean Cox cannot be forgotten. The life of Liverpool fan is in danger and Edin Dzeko is thinking about him. “We are all thinking about him and his family. These sort of things should never be a part of football.”
