Totti: “I Live Roma As a Player”

The Roma legend explained his current life as a Director of his beloved team. The Italian capital is his world at 360 degrees.

Francesco Totti was interviewed by the Serie A social channel. This is what he had to say about his role and his moment in Rome and working with the giallorossi.

“Rome is the best city in the world. I cannot live in it at 360 degrees but you can find everything everywhere. There is the sea, the mountains, the sun, the beautiful people. It is very beautiful to live in it albeit I do not have the opportunity to visit and enjoy the city in its entirety.”

“My career was phenomenal. I have never left Roma and the Serie A because my desire was to wear only one jersey. My best moment?…when I won the Scudetto.”

“I miss not wearing my boots but I am still living as a player. I am in the locker-room, on the field, I speak with the coach, and I travel with the group.”

Totti also sent an important message to the young kids dreaming of playing and becoming champions.

“Kids must have fun without thinking about future developments. But as you move forward you understand if you have the possibility to work in this world. When I joined the first team, I realized that this why my job.”

“One of my greatest emotions was when I was called “The King of Rome.”
