Roma-Champions League: An Indispensable Treasure

Real Madrid is the club that has earned the most. Roma in the 11th position ahead of Inter.

We are talking about the most prestigious International tournament for clubs. The Champions League is an incredible source of revenues for the European sides. This is the reason why Roma is fighting on a yearly basis to get the direct access to this International stage.

According to the Italian outlet ‘’, since 1992 (the date in which the new competition was introduced), Real Madrid banked 689.5m euro. Over the years, revenues sharply increased as the market pool increased in value.

The giallorossi participated in the Champions League 10 times banking 306.2m euro. Therefore the Lupi sit in the 11th position of this particular ranking ahead of Inter, even if the team of Milan got to the final match in 2010. The Italian club that has earned the most is Juventus (605m).
