The Roma fans are eagerly awaiting news from London to discover Emerson and Dzeko’s future.
The January transfer window could be bloody for Roma under a tactical point of view. Reportedly, the giallorossi are negotiating the exit of two players with Chelsea. Emerson Palmieri and Dzeko could join the blues in the next few hours/days.
According to several Italian and British outlets, Antonio Conte is ready to finalize the acquisition of both players. Emerson Palmieri is awaiting Roma‘s phone call to book a flight and land in London for the traditional medical visits. Chelsea should pay around €20 million for the Brazilian defender.
The negotiation for Dzeko suddenly started too. The Italian coach loves the Bosnian for his undeniable skills and would be willing to seal a double deal with the Lupi. Reportedly, Chelsea would pay approximately €35m for the striker.
The Italian outlet ‘Calcio e Finanza’ calculated the economic impact of this unusual operation between Roma and Chelsea. If the figures will be confirmed, the Lupi could make a whopping €49m in profit.
Dzeko‘s current value on the Roma accounts is slightly more than €11m. By selling the Bosnian star for €35m the Lupi would bank €23.4m.
The Brazilian left-back, instead, is almost completely amortized. His current value is €1.67m and if the defender will be sold for €20m as reported, the giallorossi would bring extra €18.32m into their coffers.
This potential and crazy January double deal would allow Roma to bank €41.7m, a figure that would increase by calculating the savings on the salaries of the two players. Therefore, Roma’s overall profit would be €49m.
