The manager of the Tuscan side spoke about the future of the Croatian midfielder Badelj. Roma, Inter, and Napoli are chasing him.
The January transfer window is open and a few teams are desperately searching for the right players to strengthen their rosters. According to the Italian outlet ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, Milan Badelj could end his adventure in Florence soon. Several teams are interested in signing him. Inter and Napoli are chasing the Croatian midfielder albeit Roma seems to be ahead in the negotiations with the Viola.
Fiorentina’s General Manager Pantaleo Corvino has unveiled Monchi interest in Badelj. “Our Sporting Director Carlo Freitas and I have a great professional relationship with the player. We are going to propose him a contract extension soon. However, if he will decide to leave, I am pretty confident he will join Roma.”
Milan Badelj’s contract is set to expire in June. Although Inter and Napoli are seriously interested in the midfielder, Roma’s Sporting Director wants the player now, during the January transfer window. Badelj’s renewal with Fiorentina is unlikely.
