Roma’s Champions League GROUP C victory led the giallorossi to the 10th position of the UEFA Season Club Rankings. These special rankings are based on the results of clubs competing in the current UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League season. The rankings, combined with those of the previous four seasons, determine the seeding for each club in all UEFA competition draws.
Currently, Tottenham is leading the group in front of Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Surprisingly, Besiktas sits in the fourth position ahead of Manchester United, PSG, and Manchester City. Real Madrid collected 18,000 points so far (8th in the ranking) followed by Liverpool FC.
Roma and Juventus are in position number 10 and 11 ahead of Chelsea. A big step back for Atletico Madrid. After their relegation to the Europa League, Simeone‘s crew is in the 20th position having collected just 10,000 points.
