Roma winger Diego Perotti has analyzed the current Serie A campaign and how his life has changed since Spalletti’s departure.
The are highs and lows in life. Probably, Perotti’s career changed when he scored the pivotal goal against Genoa in the last match of the past season. Thanks to his effort, the giallorossi reached a deserved direct qualification for the 2017-18 Champions League.
In a recent interview released with ‘Il Romanista’, Perotti also spoke about the race for the Scudetto.
“We have a great team this season. We can win the Scudetto albeit there are teams like Inter that have our same objective as well. Napoli plays great football. They might not score six goals like Barcelona‘s Guardiola but their possession is impressing and frustrating for the opponents. However, they could suffer a lack of turnover in the long term.
Juventus is certainly a top team but I don’t think they have the same efficiency as the past year. Napoli crashes the opponents while Juventus is weaker than before.
Spalletti? Each coach makes his choices. Probably, I would have left if Spalletti had remained in Rome.”
