Roma extended Manolas‘ contract for other three seasons after a long period of negotiations. Will the Greek player a pillar of the giallorossi for a long time?
A few days ago, AS ROMA 360 highlighted that the Lupi were ready to extend Manolas’ and Florenzi‘s contracts. Although the extension of the contract of the Italian fullback has not been made official yet, today the defender put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.
Right after the signature, the player stated: “I wanted to stay and the club is happy with me. I am very happy to extend my contract with Roma. Now we need to win something together.”
Although Kostas Manolas’ contract renewal is a positive news for the Lupi, there are rumors stating that a €35-40 million buyout clause is included in the agreement. If these rumors are confirmed, the Greek player could be really appetible for the top European clubs. The next summer market session will be really important to understand the real destiny of the defender.
