Di Francesco: “We Can’t Take the Coppa Italia lightly”

Eusebio Di Francesco focussed on the Coppa Italia match between Roma and Torino. The Italian coach wants to reach the next round even if he will rotate several players.

On Wednesday, Roma faces Torino at the Stadio Olimpico in a match valid for the Coppa Italia. The giallorossi have the possibility to play a home match in order to qualify for the next round. Di Francesco was interviewed by ‘Roma TV’.

“I’ll make a few changes but I want to win the match. We cannot underestimate any competitions. This is important to build up a winning mentality.

It’s impossible to play three games back to back with the same players. This is why I will play a few players who have been involved only in a few of our previous games. Dzeko has had flu and I am thinking about playing Schick as a striker.

Although they have lost the last game against Napoli, Torino is a tough side. Several big clubs have been in trouble against them. They even drew with Inter at San Siro. Mihajlovic’s side is in excellent physical shape.”
