The Champions League match between Chelsea and Roma didn’t bring only positive things to the giallorossi. The bad behavior of a few supporters affected the club.
UEFA has charged Roma with ‘racist behavior‘ following ‘monkey chants‘ from Roma fans at Stamford Bridge.
Roma’s President Jim Pallotta expressed his disappointment for the behavior of a few fans. The Bostonian investor was interviewed by the American radio ‘SiriusXMFC’ and stated:
“Sometimes in all of these stadiums people may do something stupid and it reflects badly on the 99.9% of fans that wouldn’t do something like that.
Generally, it’s unfortunate that teams get blamed for actions of a few idiots around the world.”
