Although Roma sporting director Monchi stated that he wouldn’t raise his offer for Riyad Mahrez, the club is ready to make a €40m bid.
The Algerian star is Di Francesco’s favorite player for the right flank and the Giallorossi are not giving up their hope for Leicester City man.
Two previous offer of €30m and €35m were refused by the Foxes, and Monchi explained that Roma had almost reached its maximum budget to close this deal.
“I don’t think any other club made a bid better than Roma’s. The player has publicly expressed his desire to go.
Let’s see if Leicester is willing to sell the player.”
According to ‘Sky Sport’, Roma is still thinking about Mahrez. The club will raise its offer to €40m.
