Riyad Mahrez has agreed to terms on a contract with Roma in order to speed up the negotiations and move to the Italian Capital.
Although Leicester City has already refused the first Roma offer for the Algerian star, the Giallorossi are not giving up.
Di Francesco deeply believes that Mahrez is the perfect player for his tactical scheme and, in the next few hours, the Lupi will make a higher bid to convince the Foxes.
However, Monchi is not wasting time and after having approached the Algerian winger he also found agreement in the terms of a contract with the player. This seems to be a clear signal that the player is on the Roma side in this negotiation and willing to move.
According to Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Mahrez has agreed on a five-year contract with a €3m wage with Roma.
