Emerson Palmieri has released a long interview to Roma TV in which he carefully explained that he’s pleased with the progress he’s made so far.
“Two months after my injury I can definitely say that I am feeling good. The best part is about to begin, as soon I’ll be back running. I want to keep on making progress.
Florenzi and Strootman are helping me to stay calm. Sometimes I feel a bit of pain or discomfort but when I look at them I feel more confident doing the exercises.
I’m happy here because there’s a long tradition of Brazilian players at Roma. The city is like Brazil and the people are warm like Brazilians.
I miss being on the pitch. We’re at the beginning of a new project and I hope it will be a fantastic year for everyone. Di Francesco always has some suggestions for me, where I can and should be improving. This makes me happy because I feel I’m part of future plans.
I am always together with Karsdorp, he is a great guy. He is teaching me English and I’m teaching him Italian and Portuguese.
Kolarov is a top-class player and he’s here to help us out. I’m pleased to play alongside such an important player. I want to learn from him.”
