Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has dismissed speculations of his imminent departure to join his former coach Luciano Spalletti at Inter.
The Tuscan coach is reportedly chasing the AS Roma right-back but in a recent press conference the sporting director of the Giallorossi Monchi stated that there are zero possibilities that Ruediger will depart from Rome.
The Germany defender, currently involved with his national team at the Confederations Cup stated that his brother is dealing with rumors and speculations.
“According to rumors Manolas and I will leave Roma for Inter but if we had to believe everything the papers write, I would already have left Roma last season. Yet I am still here.
My brother is dealing with these speculations, I am fully focused on the Confederations Cup.”
The 24-year-old has a contract with Roma until June 2020.
