Roma: Di Francesco signs a two-year contract

AS Roma released an official statement to confirm the appointment of Eusebio Di Francesco as the club’s new coach.

Di Francesco has signed a two-year contract with the Giallorossi. The former Sassuolo coach will work for AS Roma until the summer of 2019. The Italian coach returns to Roma after having played with the Lupi for a few years.

The new AS Roma coach expressed his happiness for his new adventure.

“I am extremely happy to return to Roma. This club has always been important for me. I am grateful to President Pallotta and all the directors for this opportunity.

I will give everything I have to make sure this team gets the results it deserves.”

AS Roma President James Pallotta welcomed Eusebio Di Francesco in the club.

“We were looking for someone who could come in and get the very best out of our first team players and also help bring through some of the great young talents coming out of our academy.

Monchi mentioned Eusebio Di Francesco and we believe he’s the right fit for Roma.”
