The AS Roma sporting director is reportedly making a stunning proposal for the Ivory Coast talent. Atalanta’s resistance to overcome.

According to the Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma joins the race for the midfielder of the Ivory Coast Franck Kessie challenging big European clubs such as Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester United, PSG, and Inter.

The negotiation for the 20-year-old Atalanta star is going on. The giallorossi have reportedly made a € 25 million bid to convince the Black-and-Blue of Bergamo to sell the player. In the deal, the youngsters Riccardo Marchizza and Marco Tumminello should be included as well.

The performances of Atalanta’s attacking midfielder are remarkable so far. Franck Kessie has scored 6 goals in 16 Serie A games this season. The player has been recently involved in the African Cup of Nations but Ivory Coast suffered an early exit from the competition.

Roma is looking forward to beating its competitors by pursuing the player in the current January transfer market window in order to avoid a long bidding war this summer.
