Omer Uzun, agent of Roma midfielder Salih Ucan, has addressed rumors linking his client with a move away from the capital city club by revealing that the youngster is unsure of his future in Rome.
The 21-year-old, whose two-year loan at the Giallorossi from Fenerbahce is set to expire at the end of the 2015/16 season, has been steadily linked with a possible move to Bologna in January, though his agent admits that there haven’t been any talks of a transfer as of late.
Uzun spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb.com about his client’s current situation at Roma and mentioned that the Stadio Olimpico outfit still have a chance to sign Ucan on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
“The young man still has a contract with Roma,” said the agent. “Other than that, there isn’t much to say.
“Roma have an option to redeem him at the end of the season, so we’ll see what happens in the coming months as the situation evolves.
“I don’t know if his future will be in Rome, we’ll have to wait and see. Ucan is a good player, a very good prospect. It’s up to Roma to decide whether to keep him or not.
“Bologna? We’d have to see what Fenerbahce want to do in January as well. For now, there’s nothing with Bologna. However, they were interested last summer.”
