Iturbe could leave Roma in January

By Joe Avicolli

Roma winger Juan Iturbe could reportedly leave the capital city club during the January transfer window as he looks to find more playing time.

The 22-year-old, whose current contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire in June 2019, has fallen out of favor in Rudi Garcia’s line up due to poor form and the arrivals of Mohamed Salah and Iago Falque over the summer, and it seems like he may choose to leave the club in the coming months.

According to Leggo, the Argentine has been considering a move back to former club Hellas Verona, where he played during the 2013/14 campaign, among a few other possible destinations in Italy.

Iturbe has scored just one goal in his five Serie A appearances this term thus far and has only appeared in the Lupi’s starting line up once.
