Vainqueur: I joined Roma because this is a great team

New Roma signing William Vainqueur has revealed that he joined the Lupi because he feels they’re a great team and he insists that he’s ready to give his all for the club.

The 26-year-old, who has reportedly signed a three-year deal with the Giallorossi after arriving at the Italian side from Dynamo Moscow on Monday, admits that he’s impressed by the capital city club’s loving fans and is hoping that he can do well in the beautiful city of Rome.

Vanqueur spoke to about his arrival at Roma and his mission to do his best for his new team in order to achieve success.

“I’m here because Roma are a great team and Rome is a wonderful city,” said the French midfielder, who scored two goals in his 27 Russian Premier League appearances last term.

“I will give my all for this very famous shirt. I’ve heard a lot about Giallorossi fans, they’re one of the best sets of fans in the world.”
